Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 6, 2024
1. Introduction
This privacy policy ("Policy") describes Latex.pics' practices with respect to personal data that is collected when you access Latex.pics (the "Site") or use our AI-powered latex clothing image generation services (the "Services"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
As used in this Policy, "personal data" means any information that relates to, describes, or could be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Authentication Data
When you sign in with Discord, we collect:
- Discord user ID (for authentication purposes only)
- Discord username and avatar (for display purposes)
- Discord server roles (to determine service tier and rate limits)
We do not store any additional Discord information beyond what is necessary for authentication and service delivery.
2.2 Temporary Processing Data
When you use our image generation services, we temporarily collect:
- Your uploaded image(s) (for transformation processing)
- Optional text prompts you provide (for AI generation)
- Optional reference images (for style guidance)
- Generation metadata (workflow version, timestamp)
Important: All uploaded images, prompts, and reference images are automatically deleted after processing is complete. We do not store your images, prompts, or reference images long-term. Generated images are temporarily cached for retrieval but are not permanently stored on our servers.
2.3 Technical Data
For security and rate limiting purposes, we collect:
- IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
- Browser fingerprint (for guest user rate limiting only)
- Request timestamps (for cooldown management)
We do not fingerprint or track images. All image processing happens without creating unique identifiers or fingerprints of your photos.
2.4 Analytics Data
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to collect:
- Page views and session data
- Anonymous usage statistics (e.g., generation events, clicks)
- Device and browser information (for compatibility improvements)
- Geographic location (country-level only)
Umami is GDPR compliant, does not use cookies, and respects "Do Not Track" browser settings. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To process your images and generate AI transformations
- Authentication: To manage your account and provide role-based features
- Rate Limiting: To prevent abuse and ensure fair usage for all users
- Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve our Services
- Security: To protect against malicious activity and ensure service integrity
We do not use your images or prompts for AI training, model improvement, or any purpose other than generating your requested output.
4. Data Storage and Retention
4.1 Temporary Storage
All uploaded images and prompts are stored temporarily only for the duration needed to:
- Process the image through our AI pipeline
- Generate the output image
- Allow you to download the result
Images are automatically deleted shortly after processing completes. Generated images are temporarily cached but are not stored permanently.
4.2 No User History
We do not maintain a history of your generations, prompts, or uploaded images. Each generation is independent, and we do not create user profiles or track your activity over time beyond what is necessary for rate limiting.
4.3 Rate Limiting Data
Rate limiting counters and cooldown timers are stored temporarily in-memory and are reset periodically. This data is not permanently stored and is lost when our service restarts.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
5.1 Discord Authentication
When you sign in with Discord, we use Discord's OAuth 2.0 service for authentication. Please review Discord's Privacy Policy for information about how Discord handles your data.
5.2 Limited Third-Party Sharing
We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal data to third parties except as required by law or in the following limited circumstances:
- With your explicit consent
- To comply with legal obligations or valid legal requests
- To protect our rights, safety, or property
- In connection with a business transfer or merger
- With payment processors when you subscribe (see Payment Processing below)
5.3 Payment Processing
If you choose to subscribe to a paid membership tier, payment processing is handled by third-party services:
- Subscord - manages Discord membership subscriptions
- Stripe - processes credit card payments (when you choose credit card payment)
- Bitcoin Network - processes Bitcoin cryptocurrency payments (when you choose Bitcoin payment)
- Ethereum Network - processes Ethereum cryptocurrency payments (when you choose Ethereum payment)
Important: Latex.pics does not directly collect, store, or process your payment information. When you subscribe:
- Subscord receives your Discord user ID to manage your membership
- Stripe receives your payment details if you pay by credit card (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
- Bitcoin transactions are processed on the Bitcoin network (pseudonymous by nature)
- Ethereum transactions are processed on the Ethereum network (pseudonymous by nature)
- We only receive confirmation that your payment was successful
For more information about how payment data is handled, please review:
- Subscord's Privacy Policy
- Stripe's Privacy Policy (for credit card payments)
5.4 Private Infrastructure
All image processing is performed on privately-owned hardware. We do not use public cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) for image processing or storage. Your images are processed on our own secure servers, giving us complete control over data handling and privacy.
6. ComfyUI Backend
Our service uses ComfyUI, a node-based interface for diffusion based models, as our image generation backend. ComfyUI runs on our private infrastructure and:
- Processes images locally on our servers
- Does not transmit images to external services
- Does not store images beyond temporary processing needs
- Operates independently without external API calls
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Secure authentication via Discord OAuth 2.0
- Private infrastructure without public cloud dependencies
- Automatic deletion of uploaded images after processing
- Rate limiting and abuse prevention mechanisms
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
8.1 Access and Control
You have the right to:
- Access your Discord authentication information
- Sign out and revoke Discord authentication at any time
- Use the service as a guest without authentication
8.2 Data Minimization
You can minimize data collection by:
- Using the service without signing in (guest mode)
- Not providing optional prompts or reference images
- Enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings
8.3 Deletion
Since we do not store your images, prompts, or generation history long-term, there is no persistent data to delete. If you wish to remove your Discord authentication, simply sign out.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside of your country of residence. By using our Services, you consent to such transfers. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
11. Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal cookies for:
- Authentication sessions (when signed in with Discord)
- Essential service functionality
Our analytics provider, Umami, does not use cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect authentication functionality.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on our Service.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
